Approval and application context
The notes below help you assess the scope and conditions. The regulatory text and its exceptions govern your application.

Check the approval level and intended replacement use with your approval authority.
What is the latest level, and until when can I use it?
The latest level is the 02 series, in force since 15 October 2019. It does not reopen approval for new vehicles. Replacement-device approvals for vehicles in use and extensions of existing approvals remain available under their specific conditions.

Do I need to update my existing approval, and by when?
